Chuka University Hosts Pivotal Climate Debate Ahead Of Nairobi Summer School On Climate Justice

In a significant prelude to the Nairobi Summer School on Climate Justice set to commence on June 24, Chuka University, in collaboration with the Pan African Climate Justice Alliance (PACJA) and the Nairobi Summer School, hosted an engaging debate today. The event, themed “Igniting the Comrades’ Power and Solidarity in Advancing Voices on Global Climate Action,” brought together students, climate activists, and experts to discuss and strategize on effective climate action.

The debate, held at Chuka University’s main campus, was designed to raise awareness about climate issues, foster engagement among participants, develop critical advocacy skills, and promote solidarity in the fight against climate change. The event provided a platform for vibrant discussions, where participants shared insights, exchanged ideas, and highlighted the importance of united efforts in addressing the global climate crisis.

The debate saw active participation from a diverse group of students from 6 universities and representatives from various environmental organizations.
