Chuka University’s Vice Chancellor, Prof. Henry Mutembei, recently visited Vienna, Austria, to meet trainees involved in the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) Livestock Project. The trainees, drawn from Chuka University, the University of Nairobi, and Madagascar, discussed their current progress and outlined next steps following the completion of their training. During this visit, Prof. Mutembei successfully secured an agreement for Chuka University to host an international summer school on Assisted Reproductive Technologies, set to welcome 25 international fellows. He also explored further research collaborations and equipment support from the IAEA.
Prof. Mutembei continues to excel in attracting donor research funding and building global collaborations, significantly raising Chuka University’s international profile.
