Chuka University, NSDCC Join Forces Against HIV & Triple Threat

The National Syndemic Diseases Control Council (NSDCC), led by Ag. Director, Regional Coordination, Ms. Jenny Gakii, paid a courtesy call to Vice Chancellor, Prof. Henry Mutembei. The visit sought to explore partnership opportunities between the two institutions. Key discussions centered on sharing strategic information on the triple threat, HIV, and other syndemic diseases to support continuous awareness creation.

Ms. Gakii was accompanied by the Patron of the Chuka University Maisha Youth Chapter and the Coordinator of the Aids Control Unit, Dr. Juster Mungiria. She emphasized the importance of collaborative efforts in strengthening prevention and response strategies, while Prof. Mutembei reaffirmed the university’s commitment to joining hands with stakeholders in promoting health education and research.
