The Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Henry Mutembei, today participated in a high-level consultative forum held at Machakos University, focusing on the development and validation of generic Human Resource instruments for public universities in Kenya. The meeting brought together Vice-Chancellors from various public universities, Public Service Commissioners, and Principal Secretaries responsible for Higher Education and Public Service to deliberate on the standardization of governance, staffing structures, performance management, and service delivery across the sector. Discussions emphasized alignment with national public service policies while promoting fairness, accountability, and consistency in institutional management. Through this engagement, Chuka University continues to actively contribute to national dialogue and policy formulation shaping the future of higher education in Kenya.
