New Postgraduate Cohort Inducted

A new cohort of postgraduate students was formally inducted during a ceremony aimed at preparing them for the demands of advanced academic study and research. The event brought together deans, faculty members and newly admitted students pursuing master’s and doctoral programmes.

During the session, participants were taken through key university policies, academic expectations and support services available to help them succeed in their studies. They were urged to remain focused, disciplined and committed to producing quality research capable of addressing real-world challenges.

Prof. Moses Muraya, Director Board of Postgraduate Studies, emphasized that postgraduate education requires critical thinking, effective time management and close collaboration with supervisors throughout the period of study. The cohort was also sensitized on academic integrity, use of library resources, digital learning platforms and the importance of innovation in research. The induction further provided an opportunity for attendees to engage with members of staff and seek clarification on their respective programmes.
