Participants of the 1890 Capacity Building Grant have concluded an experiential learning programme on climate-smart agriculture, marked by a certificate presentation session led by the Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Henry Mutembei. The training, which began on Monday, May 18, 2026, brought together researchers and participants from Chuka University, University of Arkansas at Pine Bluff (UAPB), and University of Maryland Eastern Shore (UMES) to share innovative farming approaches aimed at strengthening resilient food systems and promoting sustainable agricultural practices in Tharaka-Nithi County.
