A delegation from Multimedia University of Kenya, led by Prof. Geoffrey Kihara Rurimo, Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Administration, Finance, Planning and Development), visited the University to benchmark on human resource management and academic administration practices.
The officials were received by the University Management Board led by the Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Henry Mutembei, who welcomed the delegation and reaffirmed the University’s commitment to sharing best practices and promoting excellence in higher education.
Discussions focused on staff promotion, placement criteria, career progression, grade capping within staff cadres, mobility pathways, and the legal and policy frameworks guiding these processes. The visit provided an opportunity for both institutions to exchange best practices and insights on institutional management and service delivery.
