A Vision for a Dignified Future for The Youth

On 16th November, 2023 Her Excellency. Pastor Dr. Dorcas Rigathi engaged in a mentorship campaign at the University’s main campus. The theme of the event centered around envisioning a dignified future for the youth. The exercise, Dr. Rigathi said, was part of her ongoing boy-child outreach program against drugs and substance abuse targeting correctional facilities and learning institutions. In her address, she emphasized the importance of ensuring that neither the boy child nor the girl child faces extinction. Pastor Rigathi commended the Chuka University fraternity for participating in the campaign as well as the tree planting exercise at Kairini farm and working towards fulfilling the government directive. In attendance were the Tharaka Nithi County Women Representative Hon. Susan Ngugi, and the Member of Parliament Chuka-Igambang’ombe Constituency, Hon. Patrick Munene, and County Commissioner Tharaka Nithi County. A total of 8,000 trees were planted during this event at the Karini 500-acre farm.
