Advancing Climate-Smart Agribusiness

The second day of the Joint Inaugural Seminar brought together experts and scholars from the Faculties of Agriculture, Business, and Environmental and Resource Development to discuss innovative solutions for sustainable food systems.
The event also featured an Agribusiness and Trade Symposium under the theme “Climate-Smart Technologies and Practices for Sustainable Food Systems.” Experts shared insights on how businesses, farmers, and policymakers can adopt climate-resilient strategies to enhance food security and environmental sustainability.
The conference, which began yesterday, aims to foster interdisciplinary collaboration in addressing global challenges related to agriculture, trade, and resource management. Keynote speakers emphasized the importance of integrating climate-smart solutions into agribusiness models to mitigate the impact of climate change on food production.
