Chuka University hosted a delegation from the Council of Legal Education (CLE) for an on-site inspection of its School of Law, as part of a follow-up assessment to verify compliance with established quality and standards. The inspection, conducted by the Committee on Quality and Standards, evaluated key areas including curriculum delivery, staffing levels, student admissions, class sizes, research output, library resources, infrastructure, student welfare services, Moot Court facilities, and the newly established School of Law complex.
The delegation, led by the Committee Chairperson George Nyakundi, and accompanied by CLE Chief Executive Officer Jack Mwimali and Annah Konuche, commended the University for its continued progress in meeting the required standards. The visit underscores the institutions’ commitment to maintaining high-quality legal education and strengthening its capacity to prepare graduates for professional legal practice in Kenya.
