Big Boost for Students as Chuka University, KCB Foundation Deepen Ties

Chuka University hosted a delegation from Kenya Commercial Bank (KCB), led by KCB Foundation Regional Manager, Pinton Koome, for an engagement focused on student scholarship initiatives. The meeting served as an introductory forum aimed at strengthening collaboration in student support. The delegation also interacted with beneficiaries, engaging them on their academic progress and experiences under the scholarship initiative. Currently, 25 students sponsored by the Foundation are enrolled at the University.
Discussions focused on enhancing mentorship, career guidance, and financial literacy training for students. The two parties also explored opportunities for collaboration during the International Research Conference, as well as in post-retirement training initiatives. Additionally, the Foundation expressed interest in expanding sponsorship opportunities to more eligible candidates from a pool of 950 KCSE 2025 candidates under its programme.
The engagement reaffirmed the shared commitment of both institutions to advancing student success through education, mentorship, and strategic partnerships.
