Bridging Technology and Education

The three-day comprehensive training on digital education has come to a successful close. The final session brought together lecturers from the Faculty of Business, the Faculty of Environmental Studies and Resource Development, and the Faculty of Engineering. The training aimed to enhance lecturers’ digital teaching skills and equip them with the knowledge to effectively integrate technology, online resources, and virtual learning platforms into their teaching.
Key aspects of digital education were covered, including current trends in artificial intelligence in education, accessing digital library resources, developing audio-visual content for online classes, and utilizing learning management systems for seamless course delivery. The participants also explored the use of KENNET Conferencing for online classes to facilitate virtual learning sessions.
As the training comes to an end, dons leave with enhanced digital teaching skills and a deeper understanding of how to integrate technology into education. The successful completion of this program marks a significant step towards advancing digital learning and teaching practices.
