Following a rigorous and extensive recruitment process that entailed detailed interviews with numerous candidates, Chuka University is delighted to announce the appointment of Prof. Jonah Nyaga Kindiki and Prof. Gilbert Mbaka Nduru as Deputy Vice-Chancellor Administration, Finance, Planning and Development and Deputy Vice-Chancellor Academic, Research, and Students Affairs respectively by the Public Service Commission.

Prior to joining Chuka University, Prof. Nyaga Kindiki worked at Moi University as a Dean in the School of Education while Prof. Gilbert Nduru had been in the office in an acting capacity since June 2023. Prof. Jonah Kindiki brings a wealth of experience and expertise to his new role. With his exceptional qualifications and proven track record, he is well-equipped to lead the division and contribute to the university’s continued growth and success. 

Prof. Gilbert Nduru, having served in an acting capacity since June 2023, brings stability, leadership experience, and institutional knowledge to his division. His expertise in educational leadership, institutional development, and community engagement aligns with the University’s goals of enhancing academic excellence, expanding its research capacity, and enhancing its impact on higher education.
