Chuka Remains the Premier Destination for Benchmarking Best Practices

On May 9, 2024, a delegation from the University of Kabianga, led by Dr. Joseph Rono and Dr. Rueben Lang’at, embarked on a collaborative journey with Chuka University aimed at benchmarking best practices in various academic and administrative domains. The focus of this benchmarking initiative centered around enhancing part-time program structures, refining examination procedures, and optimizing campus administration processes. Dr. Samuel Chege, the Register Academic Affairs spearheaded discussions on these critical areas, seeking to leverage shared experiences and insights for mutual improvement. 

Dr. Rono, representing the University of Kabianga, expressed enthusiasm about the collaborative endeavor, stating, “By benchmarking with Chuka University, we aim to leverage collective wisdom and experiences to elevate our educational offerings and operational efficiency.  The Vice-Chancellor Prof. Henry Mutembei emphasized the value of collaborative benchmarking in driving continuous improvement. “when other Universities benchmark best practices with us, we can identify areas for enhancement and innovation, ultimately benefiting our students and stakeholders at large,” he remarked.
