Chuka University is in the global spotlight after John Tingoi, a rising talent from the Faculty of Science and Technology, clinched victory at the Kenya National Finals of the International Quant Championship (IQC) 2025. Competing against over 9,000 participants in Kenya and nearly 80,000 worldwide, John secured his place among the top 12 global finalists. He now heads to Singapore for the IQC Global Finals, set for September 29–30, 2025, where he will represent both Kenya and Chuka University on the world stage. This landmark achievement cements Chuka University’s reputation in science, technology, and innovation, as the institution celebrates one of its brightest minds flying the national and university flag globally.
