Chuka University Establishes Odel Centre At Wajir Teacher’s Training College

In a bid to enhance education access in North Eastern Kenya, Chuka University and Wajir Teachers Training have inked a significant Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) today. The MOU delineates the terms for the implementation of Chuka University’s Online and Distance Learning program, signalling a concerted effort to bridge educational gaps and uplift underprivileged individuals in the region. Central to the partnership is the establishment of an ODEL Centre at Wajir Teachers Training, which will serve as a hub for delivering Chuka University’s innovative educational programs. This initiative seeks to equip learners with essential skills, thereby enhancing their prospects in the workforce and entrepreneurial endeavours. By leveraging technology and educational expertise, both institutions are poised to make strides in democratizing education and fostering socio-economic empowerment in North Eastern Kenya.
