Chuka University Plants close to One Million Trees

In the three constituencies of Tharaka Niithi, The university led by the vice chancellor Prof. E.N Njoka and the university staff, have planted over 700,000 trees in a span of two years. This is in the spirit of conserving the environment and restore the country’s glorious tree cover. More targets have been set including planting an extra 800,000 trees.
