Chuka University Records Strong Performance at KUSF Central League 2E Competitions

This past weekend, our students proudly represented Chuka University at the Kenya University Sports Federation Central League 2E competitions. The fixtures brought together strong university teams in Rugby 15s, Hockey, Netball, Handball and Volleyball. Our teams competed with discipline, focus and admirable sportsmanship.
The results reflect both effort and growth across our sporting disciplines:

  • Volleyball Ladies attained Position 1
  • Rugby 15s Men secured Position 1
  • Handball Men finished Position 2
  • Hockey Ladies achieved Position 3
  • Netball Men placed Position 9

Emerging first in both Volleyball Ladies and Rugby 15s Men demonstrates structured training, effective coaching and strong team cohesion. A second-place finish in Handball and a third place in Hockey indicate steady progress and competitive consistency. While Netball Men placed ninth, participation at this level remains an important foundation for future improvement and development.
University sport plays a critical role in shaping resilience, leadership and teamwork among our students. These competitions test not only physical ability but also character and mental strength. Our athletes carried the Chuka University flag with dignity and determination.
On behalf of the University community, we extend sincere congratulations to all players, coaches and technical staff. Your commitment reflects the balanced academic and co-curricular excellence that defines Chuka University.
