The Chuka University road safety mainstreaming committee, chaired by Prof. Muguna, today held a road safety sensitization seminar targeting university drivers and staff. The seminar featured facilitation by officials from the National Transport and Safety Authority (NTSA) from Embu, as well as traffic officials. During the event, the Head of the Department of Transport, Ms. Monicah, emphasized the importance of road safety awareness and adherence to traffic regulations. Ms. Monicah highlighted the critical role of university drivers and staff in setting an example for safe driving practices within the community. She encouraged all participants to take the lessons learned during the seminar seriously and to implement them in their daily routines to enhance overall road safety.
