Prof. Christopher Kiboro, Dean of the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences at Chuka University, attended Part I of the prestigious DIES International Deans’ Course (IDC): Africa 2025/2026 held from June 16 to 27, 2025, at Osnabrück University of Applied Sciences, Germany.
The programme convened academic leaders from across Africa to enhance institutional capacity and foster international collaboration. Prof. Kiboro participated in high-level discussions and knowledge-sharing sessions with global scholars and fellow deans.
During the course, he met key dignitaries, including the Mayor of Osnabrück, Prof. Kathrin Loer (Vice-President of Osnabrück University), and Prof. Kai Handel, IDC Programme Director. He also presented a project highlighting Chuka University’s best practices and explored innovative strategies for institutional advancement.
Prof. Kiboro’s involvement underscores Chuka University’s commitment to quality education and global partnerships. He is expected to apply the insights gained to further strengthen the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences.
