Growing Knowledge, Harvesting Impact

Chuka University, through its UPLIFT-Ag Project (Universities Promoting Linkages for Impactful Training, Innovation, and Technology Transfer in Agriculture), held a capacity building seminar aimed at enhancing agricultural training and aligning it with industry needs.

The seminar brought together faculty, agricultural experts, and industry stakeholders to explore innovative approaches to curriculum development, research collaboration, and technology transfer. Key discussions focused on strengthening experiential learning and fostering stronger linkages between academia and industry.

A major highlight was the presentation of the improved prototype Bachelor of Science in Agriculture Curriculum, designed to integrate practical skills, innovation, and entrepreneurship for a more industry-responsive training model.
