Today marked the beginning of a two-day joint inaugural seminar uniting the faculties of Agriculture, Business, and Environmental and Resource Development, attracting faculty members, students, and industry experts from various countries and organizations. Partnering institutions presented included the Ministry of Agriculture, the County Government of Tharaka Nithi, Alliance Bioversity and CIAT, Agricultural Sector Network, Eagles, EAGC, KASNEB, NRF, KWS, KFS, Nacosti, Tellam, and the Wildlife Research and Training Institute (WRTI). The event was officially opened by Mr. Collins Marangu, representing the Cabinet Secretary for Agriculture, Hon. Mutahi Kagwe, who highlighted the need for cross-sector collaboration in tackling challenges in these fields. The seminar aims to foster research, policy discussions, and strategic partnerships for sustainable development in agriculture, business, and environmental resource management.
