KASNEB Donates Books and Bookshelf to Chuka University

Chuka University today received a donation of books and a bookshelf from the Kenya Accountants and Secretaries National Examinations Board (KASNEB) to enhance teaching, learning and research. The donated books cover key areas including corporate governance, management accounting, leadership and management, among other titles.

The KASNEB delegation, led by Mr. Boniface Lemayian and accompanied by Ms. Caroline Baragu, was received by Prof. Jonah Kindiki, Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Administration, Finance and Planning Development), and Prof. Gilbert Nduru, Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Academic, Research and Student Affairs), on behalf of the University Management.

In his remarks, Prof. Kindiki reiterated the strong collaboration between Chuka University and KASNEB and thanked the Board for its continued support. Prof. Nduru welcomed the donation, noting that it would significantly support teaching and learning. Prof. Masinde, Chairperson of the Department of Management Science, observed that Chuka University has served as a KASNEB and KISEB examination centre since 2007. University Librarian Prof. Joseph Kavulya said the books would enrich the University Library resources.

Mr. Lemayian thanked the University Management for the warm reception and disclosed that KASNEB is working on a Memorandum of Understanding to deepen collaboration with Chuka University in areas such as consultancy, strategic marketing, joint research and curriculum review.
