Chuka University staff engaged in a leadership training session today, spearheaded by Vice-Chancellor Prof. Mutembei. The primary objective of the training was to cultivate strategic, focused, and results-oriented leadership within the university. Prof. Mutembei addressed a range of topics during the meeting, including the evolving role of universities, current trends in higher education across Kenya, the essential drivers behind sustainable universities, and fundamental leadership concepts. Additionally, other notable speakers contributed to the session, including Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Academic, Finance, Planning, and Development) Prof. Gilbert Nduru, Registrar (Academic Affairs and Planning) Dr. Peter O Mabubi, Human Resource Manager Dr. Henry Nyamu, Dr. David Mwathi, Head of Department of Computer Science, and Prof. Muguna from the Directorate of Resource Mobilization.
