Study of animal diseases (Prevalence transmission , diagnosis, treatment, and mapping of hotspots )

ZOOLOGY /IMMUNOLOGY :
Zoology and immunology areas are concerned with animal disease and their effect on the working of the immune system. The following are some proposed open problems:
(i) Having managed to look at the current HIV treatment options ; we need to include more effective regimens to counter the drug resistance observed in the current ART treatment combinations
(ii) We intend to develop more effective diagnostic instrument that will be able to diagnose the virus even when in small quantities in the blood
(iii) We intend to look at the immune response of (host and pathogen ) to HIV and other animal diseases
