Safaricom Launches Safaricom Hook at Chuka University

Chuka University hosted the inaugural Safaricom Hook from October 3rd to 4th, 2024. The event attracted 1500 students and had 25 partners from different organizations. Safaricom launched Safaricom Hook on October 14, 2023 as a new platform that seeks to empower the youth by leveraging the power of technology. Focusing on three key hooks, technology, career and culture, the platform aims to nurture, support the aspirations of the Gen Z demographic and transform their lives by being a technology enabler.
