School of Nursing and Public Health Undergo Accreditation Inspection

The School of Nursing and Public Health today played host to a delegation from the Public Health Officers and Technicians Council (PHOTC). The team led by Prof. Mohammed Karama conducted a re-inspection of the Bachelor of Public Health program. This was geared to vet and accredit the programme by the PHOTC whose mandate is to oversee the regulation of training, practice, and employment of public health officers and technicians. In his remarks, the Vice-Chancellor Prof. Henry Mutembei retaliated the University’s commitment to offer accredited and quality programmes that support the government’s mission to enhance community health through primary healthcare initiatives.
