Scorpions and Starlets Head off to Eastern Region Playoffs

Following their victory in the Chapa Dimba Na Safaricom Inter-County playoffs on November 25, 2023, the Chuka University’s men’s football team “Scorpions”, and the women’s football team “Starlets”, were flagged off to represent the University and Meru Region in Eastern Region playoffs at Kinoru Stadium in Meru on December 9, 2023. Assistant Dean of Students, Mr. Francis Gacheru, expressed the university’s support for the teams during the flagging-off ceremony. He said that the University council and Management are fully committed to backing the teams, expecting nothing less than a triumphant outcome. The teams will be accompanied by their coaches Stephen Ouma and Sean Opwora.
