Chuka University Builds a Healthier Campus Through HIV and Sexual Health Training

Promoting health and well-being remains a top priority at Chuka University, as the institution continues to foster a safe, inclusive, and supportive learning environment. In line with this commitment, both staff and students participated in a comprehensive training on the “Triple Threats” approach, facilitated by the National Syndemic Diseases Control Council (NSDCC), held on 8–9 April 2026. The training aimed at advancing sexual health awareness and HIV prevention.
The sessions equipped participants with practical skills to promote healthier communities and personal well-being. Interactive discussions provided valuable knowledge on early detection, effective prevention strategies, and stigma reduction, while highlighting the critical role of wellness programs in supporting overall health, academic productivity, and institutional engagement.
Chuka University reaffirms its commitment to sustaining these initiatives by strengthening health awareness, supporting wellness programs, and encouraging active participation from both students and staff in fostering a safe, healthy, and inclusive community.
