Strengthening Academic Ties With University of Texas, Galveston

In a move to strengthen ties and foster collaboration, delegates from the University of Texas, Galveston, paid a courtesy call to the University Management. Accompanied by faculty members from the faculties of law and humanities and social sciences, the delegation, engaged in discussions aimed at enhancing training, research, and extension programs between the two academic institutions.

During the meeting, the focus was on exploring opportunities to expand on their existing Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) and further leveraging this partnership for the benefit of students, faculty, and the broader academic community. Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Henry Mutembei in his remarks, expressed his enthusiasm for the collaboration, emphasizing the importance of teamwork and fieldwork in advancing academic excellence. He also encouraged the possibility of hosting joint conferences as a way to foster knowledge exchange and interdisciplinary research.
