The Annual Embu ASK Show was held from March 13th to 15th, 2025, at the Njukiri Show Ground, which attracted attendees from across the country. The event’s theme was ‘Promoting Climate-Smart Agriculture and Trade Initiatives for Socio-Economic Growth, highlighting various innovative agricultural solutions. Chuka University showcased several projects including hydroponics, vertical gardening, water bottle recycling, and methods for adding value to local cash crops like bananas, cassava, and sweet potatoes, which can boost farmers’ income and create entrepreneurial opportunities. The university also displayed soilless farming and integrated rabbit farming techniques. Chuka University was recognized with two prestigious awards: The Best University Stand and The Best Stand Interpreting the Current Show Theme. The event aimed to foster socio-economic growth by promoting climate-smart agriculture and trade initiatives.
