Dr. John Vreyes from the University of Minnesota, today engaged in meaningful collaborative talks with the Chuka University Management. This visit marked the inception of potential partnerships in the Faculties of Agriculture and Law. This meeting also aimed at initiating linkages between the two academic institutions.
The discussions revolved around Environmental law, Climate Justice, Climate Smart Agriculture, Curriculum Support, Legal Community Outreach, infusing clinical legal education into the Bachelor of Laws as a mode of learning, and Addressing the challenges facing both crop and livestock farmers in the community. This visit sets the stage for academic growth, research advancement, and shared initiatives that will undoubtedly benefit both our universities and the broader community.
