The discussions centred on how technology can be integrated into the University’s career support systems to enhance service delivery. Key priority areas included digitizing career office processes, establishing structured career readiness pathways for students, streamlining internship and industrial attachment coordination, improving employer engagement, and implementing data-driven methods for tracking graduate outcomes.
The initiative is designed to ensure that students receive comprehensive guidance from enrolment to graduation, supported by tools that reflect current labour market expectations. The proposed platforms will also enable the University to monitor student progress more effectively and strengthen its linkages with industry partners.
This engagement forms part of the University’s broader commitment to outcomes-oriented education, where academic programmes are complemented by career preparedness, practical exposure and continuous evaluation of graduate performance in the job market.
