In a bid to confront challenges surrounding youth sexual and reproductive health, a seminar titled “Breaking Barriers, Charting the Course: University Leadership as Advocates for youth sexual and Reproductive Health (AYSRH) and Universities’ Role in Addressing Related Challenges” was convened today. Throughout the event, University leaders, scholars, and experts discussed and emphasized the pivotal role of universities in advocating for comprehensive sexual education, destigmatizing discussions around sexual health, and empowering young individuals to make informed choices. Key strategies focused on integrating AYSRH advocacy into university policies and programs, fostering safe spaces for open dialogue, and collaborating with stakeholders to implement sustainable interventions.
