The University Library conducted the annual Knowledge Ambassadors Club training session, aimed at enhancing students’ information literacy skills and providing a structured mentorship platform. The session was led by the University Librarian, Prof. Joseph Kavulya, who emphasized the importance of equipping members with essential research and information management competencies.
The training was officially opened by the Registrar (Academic Affairs), Dr. Samuel Chege, who highlighted the critical role of academic excellence and holistic student development in shaping well-rounded graduates.
The forum featured a series of presentations on key areas, including academic excellence, curriculum vitae (CV) writing and job-seeking skills, positive interpersonal relationships, and strategies for monetizing social media content creation activities. The training reaffirmed the University’s commitment to nurturing well-rounded graduates by strengthening both academic proficiency and practical life skills.
