Varsity Acquires New Ambulance to Boost Healthcare Services

The Chuka University community is celebrating the acquisition of a new ambulance, a major milestone in strengthening the institution’s healthcare services. The vehicle was officially received in a brief ceremony graced by the University Management, the Chuka University Students Association (CUSA), and the Medical Department. Speaking on behalf of the Vice-Chancellor, the Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Academic, Research and Student Affairs), Prof. Gilbert Nduru, lauded the joint efforts that made the purchase possible and reaffirmed the University’s commitment to improving student welfare.

CUSA President, Mr. Ben Geoffrey “Jakatoo,” hailed the acquisition as a historic achievement, noting that it reflects the power of unity and the importance of prioritizing student health and safety. The Medical Department welcomed the ambulance, emphasizing that it would greatly enhance their ability to respond promptly and effectively to emergencies affecting students, staff, and the surrounding community. This milestone underscores Chuka University’s dedication to safeguarding the health and well-being of its community through shared responsibility, collaboration, and unity of purpose.
