Varsity Signs 2025/2026 Performance Contract

Chuka University has reaffirmed its commitment to accountability and performance excellence following the signing of the 2025/2026 Performance Contract. The signing ceremony was presided over by the Chairman of Council Prof. David Serem and an Independent Council Member, Ms. Linet Kwamboka, in readiness for the contract’s submission to the Ministry of Education.

The Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Henry Mutembei, signed the contract on behalf of the University, paving the way for its implementation. In line with government performance management guidelines, Prof. Mutembei subsequently cascaded the contract to the Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Administration, Finance, Planning and Development) Prof. Jonah Kindiki and the Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Academic, Research and Student Affairs) Prof. Gilbert Nduru for execution by the respective divisions and all members of staff.
