Peace Ambassadors Kenya Chuka Chapter, a club in Chuka University, presented a trophy to the Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Henry Mutembei, marking their achievement as the first runners-up nationally among universities and TVET institutions under Peace Ambassadors Kenya. The accolade honored their remarkable contributions to fostering peace and community development. The club’s dedication shone through various impactful initiatives, including a transformative anti-jigger campaign in Mweru village, Igoji sub-county, on February 14th, 2024, where they provided vital healthcare outreach. Additionally, on March 30th, 2024, they extended their compassion to the Mufu Children’s Home, delivering essential charity services. Their commitment to making a tangible difference in society has garnered well-deserved recognition and admiration.
