Varsity Undergoes Comprehensive Audit by Commission for University Education (CUE)

Chuka University is currently undergoing a rigorous audit inspection by officials from the Commission for University Education (CUE) to assess the quality of its programs and processes. Led by Prof. Ratemo Michieka, the eleven-member delegation from CUE is conducting this evaluation in accordance with various regulatory frameworks, including the Universities Act 2012, revised University Regulations 2023, CUE Regulations, and Standards for University Education.

This audit, which is conducted every five years, aims to evaluate all aspects of the university’s operations to ensure alignment with CUE guidelines, technological shifts, and statutory requirements. The four-day site inspection which kicks off today earmarks inspecting resources, institutional governance and management, curriculum development, library services, financial management, physical infrastructure, and student and human resources. The team will base its assessment on evidence provided by the university across these parameters.
