Dons at Chuka University engaged in an extensive training workshop today, aimed at enhancing their skills in writing successful proposals for external funding. After the success of the initial workshop on December 06, 2024, this marks the second exercise of its kind. Delving into critical areas such as scholarly visibility, web ranking, and leveraging tools like Google Scholar, participants gained insights into maximizing their research impact. Addressing the gathering, the Deputy Vice-Chancellor for Academic, Research, and Student Affairs (ARSA), Prof. Gilbert Nduru, emphasized the pivotal role of research in elevating teaching standards and driving revenue generation and infrastructural development for the institution. The one-day seminar, was facilitated by a distinguished panel including Prof. Gilbert Nduru, Prof. Shelmith Munyiri, Prof. Stephen Wambugu, Prof. Moses Muraya, Prof. Joseph Kavulya, and Prof. Joel Gichumbi.
