Commission for University Education (CUE) Conducts Institutional visit to the University.

Chuka University hosted a successful inspection by the Commission for University Education (CUE). The visit focused on quality assurance processes, institutional growth, and academic programme accreditation further solidifying the university’s role as a center of academic excellence in Kenya.
During the visit, the CUE delegation paid a courtesy call to the Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Henry Mutembei, who warmly welcomed the team and reaffirmed the university’s unwavering support to the Commission. He emphasized Chuka University’s dedication to continuous improvement, growth, and development in all academic and operational areas. The CUE officials expressed their appreciation for the warm reception and praised the university’s professionalism and preparedness, noting that the visit proceeded smoothly and efficiently.
As part of the assessment process, the CUE team visited various faculties and the School of Nursing, where proposed and reviewed academic programmes were showcased. These programmes are set to be implemented upon accreditation. The officials conducted detailed evaluations of facilities, instructional materials, equipment, and computer laboratories to ensure they meet the required academic and professional standards.
The visit reaffirmed Chuka University’s commitment to providing high-quality education and maintaining rigorous academic standards. The constructive feedback and recommendations from the Commission will play a crucial role in guiding the university’s future development and programme implementation.
