The Faculty of Science and Technology, in collaboration with Teach2Give, successfully hosted a Generative AI Summit today. The summit aimed to bring together faculty members and students with a keen interest in Artificial Intelligence (AI), particularly in the realm of Generative AI. Generative AI, an area within artificial intelligence, encompasses the creation of diverse data formats such as texts, images, And videos. The summit provided an excellent platform for attendees to delve into the fundamentals and applications of Generative AI.
One of the key highlights of the event was the insightful demonstrations provided by Teach2Give experts. They elucidated the process involved in developing a ChatGTP-like model, shedding light on its functionalities and applications. Furthermore, practical sessions equipped attendees with hands-on experience in utilizing APIs and libraries essential for building such systems, utilizing the Python programming language.
