Faculty of Agriculture Champions Academic Excellence

Focused on enhancing academic excellence and reducing the failure rates among students, the Faculty of Agriculture organized an Open Forum Workshop on February 27, 2024. Under the theme “Exploring Pathways to Excellent Professionalism,” faculty members and students gathered to discuss strategies for improving academic performance to preparestudents for successful careers in the agricultural sector. Prof. Humphrey Kirimi, the Director Chogoria Campus, delivered a keynote address, which emphasized the importance of collaborative efforts between faculty and students in creating a conducive learning environment. Through interactive discussions, participants identified barriers to academic success and explored innovative solutions. The Dean, Dr. Grace Abucheli reaffirmed the Faculty’s commitment to supporting students in achieving academic excellence and making meaningful contributions to the agricultural industry and society as a whole.
