Parliamentary Education Committee Conducts Oversight Visit

Today, the Parliamentary Departmental Committee on Education conducted an oversight visit to the university to assess the progress of ongoing capital projects and other significant matters. Led by Chairperson the Committee Hon. Julius K. Melly, CBSMP, the five-member delegation focused on crucial aspects such as university infrastructure, financial management, and the status of the approved budget for the fiscal year 2023/2024 alongside its corresponding procurement plan.

In his remarks, the Chairperson Hon. Julius commended the Vice-Chancellor Prof. Henry Mutembei and the Chuka University Management for fulfilling statutory financial obligations, demonstrating prudent resource utilization and management, and successfully implementing the new funding model.
