Prof. Jospeter Mbuba Strengthens Criminology Studies

Prof. Jospeter M. Mbuba, from Purdue University’s Department of Criminal Justice and Public Administration, paid a courtesy visit to Vice-Chancellor Prof. Henry Mutembei. He donated two titles of books, Criminal Investigation and Criminal Justice, during his visit.

Prof. Mbuba played a key role in founding the Bachelor of Arts and Master of Arts programs in Criminology and Security Studies at Chuka University in 2017, with funding from the Carnegie African Diaspora Fellowship. In 2019, he also established the university’s Ph.D. program in Criminology and Security Studies, supported by the Council for the Development of Social Science Research in Africa (CODESRIA).

Over the years, he has generously donated more than 60 titles of books to the university, further enriching its academic resources
