The 1st National Nurses Association of Kenya Reproductive Health Nurses Chapter International Research Conference was held on 30–31 July, bringing together nurses, healthcare professionals, researchers, and key stakeholders to explore innovative approaches, leadership strategies, and evidence-based nursing practices aimed at strengthening equitable and resilient reproductive health systems.
Held under the theme “Advancing Equitable and Resilient Reproductive Health Systems through Innovation, Leadership and Evidence-Based Nursing Practice,” the two-day conference provided a platform for participants to share research findings, exchange knowledge, and deliberate on emerging issues in reproductive healthcare.
Participants engaged in presentations and discussions on evidence-based nursing practice, reproductive health innovations, maternal healthcare, and strategies for improving access to quality and equitable reproductive health services. They also explored research on male participation in their partners’ uptake of cervical cancer screening in Tharaka Nithi County, alongside other emerging issues in reproductive healthcare.
The conference culminated in the presentation of certificates to participants in recognition of their successful participation, reaffirming a shared commitment to advancing equitable and resilient reproductive health systems through innovation, leadership, and evidence-based nursing practice.
