Staff Prayer Day: Spiritual Reflection and Renewal

Chuka University’s annual staff prayer day, held on September 27, 2023, left a lasting impression on all who attended. Under the theme, “My presence will go with you, and I will give you rest” from Exodus 33:14, the day commenced with an uplifting praise and worship session led by the University’s Christian Union group. The atmosphere was electric with spiritual energy as Deputy Vice-Chancellor of Academic, Research, and Student Affairs (DVC ARSA), Prof. Gilbert Nduru, and Vice-Chancellor Prof. Henry Mutembei delivered thought-provoking speeches, emphasizing the importance of seeking God’s presence in the face of life’s challenges. The highlight of the day was the stirring sermon by guest speaker Pastor Martin Mutinda from New Life Ministry.
