VC Signs 2024/2025 Performance Contract, Setting the Stage for Staff Implementation

Vice-Chancellor Prof. Henry Mutembei, has officially signed the 2024/2025 performance contract today in the presence of the University Council. This milestone signifies the next phase of the institution’s dedication to performance management, with the contract set to be cascaded to all staff members for implementation. The signing comes after the Chair of the Council Prof. David Serem and Ms. Linet Kwamboka, a member of the council, endorsed the performance contract in December 2024, signaling a top-level commitment to institutional success. 

Members of staff are expected to engage actively in the cascading process, ensuring clarity in their roles and responsibilities for the year ahead. The cascading process will involve departmental meetings, individual appraisals, and detailed timelines for achieving outlined targets. The initiative aligns with the institution’s broader mandate to enhance efficiency, accountability, and service delivery, setting a benchmark for the coming years.
