The Directorate of Open, Distance, and E-Learning (ODEL) conducted a training session today for students admitted in the May–August 2025 intake. The session focused on equipping students with the necessary skills to effectively navigate the Learning Management System (LMS), student portal, web conferencing platforms, and the digital library. The Directorate currently operates three examination centres located in Wajir, Nairobi, and at the Main Campus in Chuka, ensuring broader access and convenience for remote learners across different regions.
By offering flexible learning options that accommodate students’ busy schedules and allow them to study from the comfort of their homes, ODEL continues to expand access to quality higher education. This initiative represents a major advancement in digital education, fostering greater inclusion and providing a more personalized learning experience for all students.
